Arsenal readying move for Ligue 1 starlet

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is readying a January move for Marseille’s impressive midfield starlet Florian Thauvin, according to reports from the Daily Star.

The 21-year-old has been a Gunners’ target for some time, with the club’s scouts having been monitoring his rise closely.

Thauvin has only been a l’OM player for just over a year, yet it is rumoured that he could be sold for the right price due to the financial difficulties in Ligue 1.

The attacking midfielder has already indicted that he’s ready to stay at the Stade Velodrome to continue his development, but Wenger is hopeful of luring him to London.

The silky playmaker is yet to make his senior France debut, however he is a player being tipped to become a Les Bleus star in the not too distant future.

Thauvin has also been linked with Inter Milan.
