Arsenal are plotting a stunning £40.5m double deal in order to secure the services of two international strikers ahead of Euro 2016, according to the Sunday Express.
The Gunners have reportedly identified Dynamo Moscow hitman Aleksandr Kokorin and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann as top targets ahead of next summer’s championships in France.
Russian star Kokorin was the subject of a loan bid during the summer from Emirates chief Arsene Wenger, though the Moscow outfit were unwilling to let their man go.
However, his contract is due to expire at the end of the season, with reports suggesting he could be available for a cut-price £7m in the New Year.
Griezmann, a French international, has enjoyed a superb start to the La Liga season in the Spanish capital, scoring five goals already.
He is thought to cost around £33m should the North London giants wish to follow up their interest with a concrete offer.
Wenger did not strengthen his front line over the summer, with Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud his only two fully fit options in a striking berth.
