The Gunners have endured a fairly quiet January transfer window so far despite suffering a series of injuries in weeks prior to it opening, with Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny, who is yet to make his debut, from Basel the only major addition.
But reports claim that the Gunners are working hard to get a deal over the line, with Yarmolenko being lined up for the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Ukraine international is considered to be one of the top talents in his homeland, and has already notched 13 goals, while registering eight assists, for his side this term in 22 games.
Dynamo want the deal shelved until the summer as they are keen to keep Yarmolenko available for their Champions League last-16 double-header with Manchester City.
