Arsenal should make an ambitious move for Chelsea attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi as speculation surrounding the teenager's future continues to gather pace.

What's the word, then?

Hudson-Odoi's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Bayern Munich strongly linked with a move for the 18-year-old.

According to the Daily Mail, Bayern have already had three bids rejected for the teenager - the latest of which was an offer in the region of £30m.

Hudson-Odoi feels that he is currently ready for Premier League football, but he has only made one league appearance for Chelsea during the 2018-19 campaign.

Chelsea assistant manager Gianfranco Zola recently confirmed that Bayern were 'very interested' in Hudson-Odoi.

However, Arsenal should make an ambitious move for the attacker, who won the Under-17 World Cup with England in 2017.

It would take some effort from the Gunners to poach the teenager, but it is certainly worth a try when considering what he would bring to the club.

Where would Hudson-Odoi fit in at Arsenal?

Alex Iwobi has played a lot of football on the Arsenal left this season.

There is no question that the 22-year-old is a talent and he has registered assists in Arsenal's last two Premier League matches against Liverpool and Fulham.

Hudson-Odoi is better and indeed younger than Iwobi, however, and is the type of player that Arsenal need if they are to become title challengers once again.

Hudson-Odoi again showed his talent during Chelsea's FA Cup clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, setting up both of Alvaro Morata's goals in the 2-0 win.

The teenager wants regular Premier League football, however, it does appear that he will have to leave Chelsea in order to further his career.

Chelsea would, obviously, be keen to sell Hudson-Odoi abroad rather than to a Premier League rival, but the player will have a big say in what happens.
