Arsenal have opened talks with Turkish side Besiktas over the sale of goalkeeper David Ospina, according to the Daily Star.
The 27-year old only arrived in North London in the summer of 2014 but has lost his place between the posts following the arrival of Petr Cech earlier this year.
A Colombian international, he had originally managed to displace former Gunners Number 1 Wojciech Szczesny last season before losing out as soon as Cech arrived from London rivals Chelsea.
Now, reports suggest that Turkish outfit are indeed keen on landing the out of favour shot stopper as early as January.
A loan deal has been mooted with option to turn the deal into more of a permanent situation at the end of the current campaign.
He has managed just three games all season, a significant drop from the 18 consecutive Premier League games he appeared in last year.
The £3.5m arrival from OGN Nice was recently spotted ‘liking’ several posts from Besiktas’ official Twitter page, fuelling speculation.
