Alexandre Lacazette is still very much recovering from the injury he sustained not so long ago in a friendly game against Lyon which the Gunners ended up losing 2-1.
The France international did not travel to Spain with the squad as they faced Barcelona at the Camp Nou as part of the Joan Gamper Trophy match, which they also, unfortunately, lost 2-1.
Still, Unai Emery is hopeful that Lacazette will return in time to face Newcastle in their 2019/20 Premier League opener.
The forward himself has also taken to Instagram to post a cryptic message that just might be hinting his potential return to fitness.
But not everyone has taken kindly to this mysterious approach Lacazette is practising.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was quick to post a reply and rinse his friend and teammate for being so secretive on social media. He asked him whether he thought he was Sherlock Holmes and urged him to stop with these secrets.
Of course, this was all just friendly banter and Aubameyang was just joking around with Lacazette.
Arsenal play Newcastle on 11 August so the Frenchman still has a couple of days to fully recover.
