With news that Arsenal’s Yaya Sanogo has joined Crystal Palace on loan, Eagles boss Alan Pardew can now field a pair of Gunners ‘icons’ in an awesome front two. Forget ‘SAS’, ‘SAC’ is the future, with the double act possessing the skills to compliment one another perfectly.
We are, of course, being a little sarcastic, with Sanogo and Chamakh having widely been ridiculed through their respective Arsenal careers. The Moroccan was hailed as one of the best strikers is Europe when Arsenal beat the likes of Liverpool to his signature from Bordeaux, but now the slick-haired ‘assassin’ is in south London, where he’s shown some glimpses of ability.
Sanogo was compared, by some, to Chamakh while in the red and white shirt, after it took him over a year to notch his first competitive Gunners goal.
Naturally, Twitter has responded with a series of hilarious, rude and disrespectful comments on the switch, and here are a few:

I think Chamakh and Sanogo will bag a good number of goals between them…or am I boosting?

Can’t believe that we gave both Chamakh and Sanogo (albeit only for the rest of the season) to Palace. What did Palace ever do to us?
