The Chile international joined the Gunners from Barcelona in a deal worth over £30m, which was seen as quite a coup at the time as he rejected bitter rivals Liverpool to switch to north London from Barcelona.
Sanchez has since been a big hit with Arsenal, netting 16 goals in 26 appearances to help the Gunners in both Champions League and domestic action.
However, reports claim that the 26-year-old is already worried about his future at the club.
It’s believed that Arsenal’s current fifth place slot is a source of concern, with qualification for next season’s Champions League by no means a guarantee and any chance of a title charge all but over.
Another issue is the emergence of Santi Cazorla.
The Spaniard has been one of Arsenal’s key men in recent weeks and has been entrusted with more responsibility in the starting XI by Arsene Wenger as a result.
Sanchez is reportedly not happy that he’s no longer the club’s on-field talisman, which is a role he is rumoured to have enjoyed in his opening few months.
