Arsenal have tabled a £51m bid for Manchester United target Alvaro Morata of Juventus, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The 23-year-old has caught the eye of a host of Premier League giants this season, with Man United also amongst the clubs keen on his signature.
However, the striker, who joined from Real Madrid back in 2014, had a buy-back clause inserted into his deal when he joined the Serie A champions.
The Gunners are now said to be in talks with Real as the La Liga giants look to bring him back to the Bernabeu before cashing in on his services.
Manager Arsene Wenger is keen to add a quality attacker into his ranks this summer as he looks to mount a title challenge ahead of the new campaign.
Morata managed to register 46 appearances in all competitions for his side this term, scoring a total of 11 goals while providing another 12 assists in the process.
