Inter Milan striker is set to stay in Italy this summer as his agent rules out the chance of a switch to the Premier League, as reported by Sky Sports.
Cassano has had plenty of off the field issues over the years and had a row with last season’s manager Andrea Stramaccioni leaving his future in serious doubt.
However the appointment of Walter Mazzarri has seen Cassano rethink his options and he hopes to force his way back into the team for the star of next season.
Arsenal were keen to bring the Italian to North London and had been hoping for a cheap deal as the 30 year old only has one year left on his current deal.
Cassano’s agent Beppe Bozzo has confirmed that his client will remain with Inter next season.
“He’ll stay at Inter,” he told Tuttosport.
“I think that Inter will have a great squad at their disposal next season too.
“President Massimo Moratti will buy players who will fit in with new coach Walter Mazzarri’s style of play.
“They’ll also benefit in the new season from not having any European commitments to deal with.”
