Another day, more Arsenal transfer updates. The Gunners are looking to bring in several new names ahead of the next season, which are needed if they are to improve on last season's fifth-place finish in the Premier League. Recently, Ryan Fraser, William Saliba and Jordan Veretout have all been linked.

Xhaka happy at Emirates

Today's first bit of news is in regards to a player already at the Emirates. Granit Xhaka had previously been linked with a move to Inter Milan but, in an interview with Swiss outlet Blick, the former Borussia Mönchengladbach man has said he does not think he will be leaving Arsenal this summer.

Carrasco deal agreed

According to Gazzetta Dello Sporto journalist Nicolo Schira, Dalian Yifang's Yannick Carrasco has agreed a deal with Arsenal, with the two clubs now just finalising details of the transfer. Carrasco moved to China last February and has scored 14 goals in 36 games in the Far East.

€55m needed for Sampdoria pair

The Gunners have been told they will need to pay €55m (£48.99m) for Sampdoria pair Joachim Andersen and Denis Praet once again according to Nicolo Schira. Arsenal had originally bid €48 (£42.79m) million for the duo, but now club president Massimo Ferrero is holding out for an even higher fee for his star players.
