Arsenal, Watford & West Ham chasing CL-winner, £17m could get transfer done

According to reports from Gazzetta World, Arsenal, Watford and West Ham are all targeting Juventus striker Mario Madzukic for a summer transfer.

The Croatian international is one of the most established goalscorers in Europe, producing healthy returns throughout spells at Dynamo Zagreb, Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich (where he won the 2013 Champions League title), Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

The 30-year-old signed for the Turin outfit last summer and went on to bag 13 goals during his debut campaign, including ten strikes in the Italian top flight.

But the £75.3million arrival of former Napoli poacher Gonzalo Higuain has created doubts over Mandzukic’s future with the Serie A champions and Gazzetta World claim Arsenal and West Ham are now lining him up for a summer transfer, whilst Watford have made enquiries.

The Old Lady reportedly rate the 68-cap international at around £16.85million, but he could still decide to snub interest from the Premier League to stay on at Turin Stadium.
