Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic won’t be joining Arsenal and is focused on finding another Italian club, according to his agent.
The Montengero forward is widely expected to leave the Viola this summer after another successful season in Italy, the 23-year-old scoring 13 goals in Serie A.
Arsenal were one club who were thought to be keen on Jovetic, with reports this week claiming they had lodged a bid of around £24.5million with Fiorentina.
However, the striker’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has denied the Gunners have spoken with the Italian club and insists his client has no interest in moving to north London.
“Stevan prefers to stay in Italy rather than move away,” said Ramadani.
Jovetic is now expected to make the move to Juventus, with reports in Italy claiming they have struck a deal with Fiorentina for the striker.
The Italian champions are expected to push through the deal despite having already signed Fernando Llorente, while making an offer for Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain.
