The gamble paid off. Unai Emery fielded a new-look side from the one that disappointed at Watford, with just Sead Kolasinac, David Luiz, Granit Xhaka and Aubameyang surviving the overhaul. Noteworthy starts were handed to youngsters Emile Smith-Rowe, our man in question, and Saka. An inspired decision.

Is it Willock’s time to shine? We think so.
