Arsene Wenger says consistency is the key as Arsenal look to finish the season strongly by qualifying for the Champions League.
The Gunners left it late as they came from behind to defeat Norwich 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon and with Tottenham and Chelsea not in league action this weekend, the result moved them up to third place.
Wenger’s men have a chance to put the pressure on Spurs even further as they take on Everton and Fulham before their arch rivals play again next weekend, against Manchester City.
However, Wenger is not looking at the other teams and wants his side to stay focused and carry on picking up results.
“At the moment, the position is not important, has no real meaning, what is important for us is to keep our run going and the consistency of our wins,” Wenger revealed.
“It is really tight, and the team who is the most consistent will get there. At the moment, we have that consistency, so we want to focus on that. We have another big game on Tuesday night and have a good opportunity that we want to take.”
