Mesut Ozil was allegedly forced to join Arsenal in a £42.5m deal by his father, Mustafa.
The German star has now fallen out with his father after the Arsenal midfielder was taken to court by his father after the play-maker sacked him as CEO of his marketing company.
Marca reports that the row started between the two after Mustafa, acting as Mesut’s agent, arranged the whole transfer with Arsenal for the then Real Madrid midfielder. His father also made sure that he earned a decent profit himself for the deal.
Mesut is said to miss Madrid ‘every day’ and has also thought ‘what if’ after seeing how successful his old side have become since his departure.
