The France international, who has started all four of his country’s fixtures at Euro 2016, has emerged as one of the top defenders in Europe since moving to the Emirates from FC Lorient in summer 2010.
Indeed, the 30-year-old has established himself as the lynchpin in the Gunners’ backline, making 44 appearances across all competitions last season.
According to Bild, Bayern Munich director Michael Reschke is a huge fan of the 6 foot 1 centre-half and would like to bring him to the Allianz Arena this summer.
The German giants look set to part with Medhi Benatia this summer, whilst Holger Badstuber could also leave the club, and Koscielny is seen as a potential replacement – providing backup to Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels.
However, it seems unlikely the Frenchman would accept a secondary role with the Bavarians and Arsenal have the option of extending his contract by a further twelve months, which would complicate a potential summer transfer.
