Juventus are weighing up a fresh move for Alexis Sanchez after having a €50m (£43.4m) offer rejected by Arsenal earlier this summer, with the player himself keen to leave the club, according to reports from Sport.
The Chile international has been a big hit since his 2014 move to the Emirates Stadium and is considered to be one of the Gunners’ key first-team stars.
However, his future has been in some doubt of late, with suggestions that the club are struggling to tie him down to a new contract having done the rounds.
And reports claim that Juventus are extremely interested in luring the 27-year-old back to Italy, where he shone for Udinese, with a fresh offer being lined up.
The Old Lady are believed to have had a £43.4m bid knocked back by the Premier League heavyweights earlier in the current window, but Juve have not been dissuaded and appear to have been buoyed by Sanchez’s desire to move.
It’s claimed that the ex-Barcelona man has made his feelings known to Arsene Wenger, which could make it tough for the Frenchman to keep him, regardless of his own concerns in terms of attacking options.
