The Poland international left the Emirates for the Stadio Olimpico last summer, following Petr Cech’s £10million arrival from London rivals Chelsea.
During his year-long loan in the Italian capital, Szczesny made 42 appearances across all competitions, including 34 outings in Serie A, and demonstrated good enough form to claim his country’s No.1 jersey in time for Euro 2016.
Despite signing prodigious goalkeeper Allison from Internacional in February, The Daily Mail claim Giallorossi want to agree another loan deal for Szczesny with an option to buy.
It’s further added that the 26-year-old would likely agree to another stay in Italy after admitting his fondness for his adoptive club in April, but Arsenal want a loan fee to be included in the potential season-long deal.
Arsenal are well-endowed in the goalkeeping department, with Cech deputised by Colombia No.1 David Ospina.
