The Brazil right-back won three Champions League titles with the Nou Camp outfit but completed a much-speculated move to Juventus yesterday.
And London Evening Standard claim that could see Barcelona move for one of their former players in Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, who rose through the ranks at La Masia before moving to north London in 2011.
The Spain international was in phenomenal form for the Gunners last season, bagging one goal and five assists in 36 Premier League appearances to claim a place in the PFA Team of the Year and a place in Vincente del Bosque’s Euro 2016 squad.
Of course, rumours linking the 21-year-old with a return to Barcelona are nothing new and have been frequent in the build up to the summer transfer window.
But Arsene Wenger appears determined to hold onto Bellerin and has a good chance of doing so, with his Emirates contract not due to expire for another three years.
