Five images that perfectly sum up Arsenal’s 3-0 mauling of Chelsea

It must be like deja vu for Chelsea fans.

Despite looking relatively impressive during the opening few games of the season, Chelsea are now experiencing something of a slump in form. Surely they can’t struggle again this season?

Arsenal, on the other hand, are on fire. The opening day loss to Liverpool looked to have initially rocked the boat in North London, but Arsene Wenger’s side have responded well with a goalless draw over champions Leicester and then four consecutive victories.

But it has to be said that they were at their most impressive in the opening 45 minutes against Chelsea at the Emirates on Saturday.

Goals from Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil stunned Arsenal’s London rivals and Antonio Conte’s side had no answers to mount a come back in the second-half.

It was a seriously impressive display from Arsene Wenger’s men – the build up to Walcott’s goal particularly impressive – and you have to have them down as early title contenders. Even if Man City look too good to stop already.
