Five images that summed up Arsenal v Swansea

It’s highly likely Arsene Wenger will be waking up with a big grin on his face this morning after yesterday’s results.

Whilst Arsenal beat Swansea 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium, their title rivals Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur both dropped points. City drew at home to Everton after missing two penalties whereas Spurs left it late to get a point at The Hawthorns against West Brom.

The Gunners, meanwhile, saw off a stubborn Swansea side, looking to get a good result in Bob Bradley’s first Premier League match as their manager, with a brace from Theo Walcott and one strike¬†from Mesut Ozil.

Goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Borja Baston for the Swans kept things interesting for the full ninety minutes but in truth, it was a pretty comfortable afternoon’s work despite the second-half sending off of summer signing Granit Xhaka.

A good result for Arsenal, then, and one Gunners fans can reflect on now with five images that summed up the victory…
