Entering the international break on the back of 16 matches unbeaten across all competitions, Arsenal are finally looking like the side they should be with all the abundance of talent within their squad.
That's not to say everything is perfect though, as there are still some problems Arsenal need to address and with the fierce competitive nature in the Premier League's title race this season, failing to fill these holes in January could see the Gunners concede the English crown once again.
It may also end up being Arsene Wenger's last year in charge at the Emirates Stadium, which means the January window could be the Frenchman's last chance to create a legacy within the squad to remain behind his departure.
Whilst there may not be a desperate need for an all-out assault on the transfer market in January, the Gunners do have these five priorities to address.
Get a top striker
It's quite remarkable that we're still at this stage after so many transfer windows but it appears Arsene Wenger still hasn't got the memo regarding the signing of a top striker. Sorry Lucas Perez, but it's not you.
Whilst Alexis Sanchez has been fantastic this season and the likes of Olivier Giroud, Perez and Danny Welbeck are talented in their own right, neither of that trio can really challenge Alexis for his first-team spot.
The injury sustained to Alexis this week should have sent alarm bells ringing for the Gunners, as the prospect of playing without him will be frightening.
Find a long-term keeper
Petr Cech is still a top-class keeper and David Ospina is one of the finest back-up options in the Premier League but both are not adequate long-term options for the Gunners - whilst they've also had shaky performances in recent outings.
Arsenal struggled long-term in the wake of Jens Lehmann's decline and should have learned their lesson. The club needs to identify a younger stopper who can play between the sticks for the next five years or more.
Decide what to do with Oxlade-Chamberlain
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is one of a rare breed at Arsenal, as a young player who has been at the club for a while but yet to leave on loan. Given his performances in recent seasons, the former Southampton man would have certainly benefited from one.
It's left Arsenal in a sticky situation, with Oxlade-Chamberlain showing bright glimpses at times but looking out of place on other occasions. His lack of consistency is a real detriment to Arsenal's first-team when he's not on form but he's shown the talent to succeed.
Stick or twist? It's not an easy call.
Get a winger
Regardless of what happens with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal need a natural winger to play on the left-hand side. Alex Iwobi is incredible but needs more development, whilst Aaron Ramsey is better in a more central position.
There's plenty of top-quality options available on the market and Arsenal should swoop. The right man to complement Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott in attack could be the catalyst towards success.
Grab a left-back
Another problem on the left, although not quite as immediate as the wing role, Arsenal's left-back area has looked vulnerable. Nacho Monreal was torn apart by Middlesbrough's Adama Traore, with Kieran Gibbs then appearing out of his depth against Ludogorets.
Both are talented options for Arsenal but Monreal, now 30, is at the back-end of his career and Gibbs has never quite shown the ability to be a long-term option in this role for the Gunners.
