The debate in the seemingly continuous saga surrounding Liverpool, Luis Suarez and Arsenal yet again fired up yesterday with the Liverpool owner John Henry stating that the Uruguayan will not depart Anfield at any cost this summer.
Despite forcing the striker to train on his own, it seems that he is going to spend another season in the Premier League at the Kopites, and Arsenal will fail yet again to secure their big name signing.
With that in mind, where else will the Gunners look to add in their squad? In defence is sure to be a possibility, and with the injury prone Thomas Vermaelen likely to struggle to be a regular in the first team, a new recruit to partner Koscielny may be in order. While it is true that Per Mertesacker remains in the Arsenal squad, it is again questionable as to whether he will be the main man in that centre back role at The Emirates.
