Arsenal’s moral high-ground

Over the years, for better or worse, Arsenal are a club often applauded for going about their business in the right way, rarely involved in controversial incidents on or off the pitch, and rarely condemned for their lack of morality.

Therefore, it would be rather hypocritical if they sign one of the most a-moral players plying their trade today in Luis Suarez, who couldn’t avoid constant controversy even if he tried.

Furthermore, Arsene Wenger’s prestige and reputation should give him the luxury of avoiding players with questionable attitudes that constantly cause problems, rather than purchasing them for over £50million a piece.

Suarez is a very un-arsenal type player, and his disruptive antics won’t go down too well with the fans or the roster at the Emirates.
