The Polish international was signed by Arsenal from Legia Warsaw. Since his arrival at the Emirates, Fabianski has struggled to claim the number one spot. He’s been back up to the calamitous Manuel Almunia and now Wojciech Szczesny. But with Arsenal’s current goalkeeping situation, Arsene Wenger may look to bring in a world class keeper this summer, meaning Fabianski could move further down the pecking order.
It’s quite surprising that Fabianski has been capped 21 times by Poland. Even for his country he is seen as the understudy.
It seems the only good thing that Fabianski can do, is double for Matt. Maybe not so much now a days as the American is starting to age and is looking a bit weathered. But during his friends days, Fabianski and LeBlanc appear very similar.
