Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to hammer Matteo Guendouzi for his performance in the 0-0 draw against Burnley.

The Frenchman was making his 16th Premier League start of the campaign at Turf Moor on Sunday, but proceeded to deliver an ineffective display as the Gunners ended up drawing their 13th league game of the season - no other side in England's top-flight have drawn more.

He didn't necessarily do anything catastrophic against the Clarets, although he could've done a bit more offensively.

Guendouzi had no shots on target and failed to make a key pass, while also winning no aerial duels against a physical Burnley side.

Additionally, he was also dispossessed twice and had one unsuccessful touch, while having just one interception to show for his defensive efforts after making no tackles or clearances - it was an anonymous display, to say the least.

The result leaves Arsenal in tenth place with 31 points to their name.

Let's see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter were saying about Guendouzi's performance...

To kick off the hate towards Guendouzi's display, these two fans had some harsh words.

@AviationArsenal said that the Lorient midfielder had "a very poor game" against Sean Dyche's side, and "seems to have lost all creativity" - ouch.

Then, @kohkb called the 20-year-old a "write off" before humorously saying that he is "like a donkey running around a coconut tree" - whatever that means!

Elsewhere, these two supporters both had some negative words to describe the Arsenal No.29.

'Everything Arsenal' said that Guendouzi is "so bad" before saying he is "sloppy" and has "slow passing".

Prab then simply said that the Poissy-born midfield man is "so inconsistent".

Lastly, Giyu said that the former Paris Saint-Germain academy player is "so slow on the ball".

What could've been... Can you name the clubs these football legends almost joined?

Another fan with the username @GoonerWny simply said that Guendouzi is "pub level" - harsh.

In other news, these Arsenal fans were left impressed with this player who "doesn't get talked about enough"...
