Arsenal are NOT interested in signing Celta Vigo forward Nolito, according to La Liga football expert Guillem Balague.
The Gunners were commonly thought to be chasing the 29-year old this winter in an effort to boost their striking ranks.
However, Balague has moved to quash suggestions that Emirates chief Arsene Wenger is about to trigger the Spanish international’s reported £12.6m release clause.
Instead, the journalist has taken to Twitter to reveal that the Celta star is not on the radar, while the player himself is more interested in moving to Barcelona next month.
Arsenal not interested at all in Nolito. Not by chance the stories come out in the Catalan press (he wants to go to FCB).

Nolito has been in stunning form this year as his unfancied outfit challenge the top order in La Liga, notching eight goals and registering five assists.
The La Roja star started his career in Spanish football with the Catalan giants though failed to break the first-team before moving on to Benfica and later Celta.
Blaugrana boss Luis Enrique is nearing the end of the transfer ban imposed on the club and is once again to register players this January.
