Arsenal manager Unai Emery has plenty of work to do if he wants to take the Gunners back to the top echelons of the Premier League.

The North London outfit have failed to qualify for the Champions League in the last two seasons under former boss Arsene Wenger.

The fans will have high expectations when Emery takes charge of his first game, but before that, all eyes are on the Spaniard’s activity in the transfer market.

So far, the North London outfit have recruited one new player in the form of right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, who has joined on a free transfer after leaving Juventus.

The Gunners are in need of a refresh at the back, as well as in midfield in order to get themselves back on track in the Premier League.

One area, though, that has not been heavily reported on is the goalkeeper, which is the complete opposite to the coverage of Liverpool’s transfer activity.

The Merseyside outfit have been linked to handfuls of top-class shot-stoppers due to their apparent desire to find an upgrade on Loris Karius.

At Arsenal, Petr Cech remains the number one choice, and even though the former Chelsea keeper’s displays have not been as troublesome as Karius’s, the 36-year-old has caused some concern in between the sticks.

With that in mind, does Emery need to put focus into finding a new keeper this summer?
