Arsenal finally look to have found their stride under Unai Emery after securing three consecutive Premier League wins but there are still question marks surrounding the Gunners.

The North London side have struggled defensively so far this season and are yet to keep a clean sheet, which follows on from a troubled campaign endured by the backline during the last year of Arsene Wenger's tenure.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos is the only defensive signing made by Emery in the summer to earn regular football this season, with goalkeeper Bernd Leno still awaiting his debut and Stephan Lichtsteiner behind Hector Bellerin in the pecking order.

It is clear that further changes are necessary and intriguing reports this week stated that the Gunners are in the hunt for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, who is ready to quit Old Trafford after falling down Jose Mourinho's pecking order.

The 24-year-old, rated at £31.5m by Transfermarktwould certainly add a boost to Arsenal's defensive depth and could prove to be the long-term replacement for the ageing, and currently injured, Laurent Koscielny.
