Arsenal have enjoyed a tremendous upturn in form over the course of the past month, extending an impressive record to seven consecutive victories across all competitions.

A key part of that run has been the improvement in the Premier League, as the Gunners have bounced back from opening their campaign with two defeats at the hands of Manchester City and Chelsea to win their next five in a row.

That has seen Unai Emery's side fly up the Premier League standings to fifth, level on points with arch-rivals Tottenham and two points behind Chelsea, both of whom will provide Arsenal with fierce competition in the hunt for a top-four finish.

After two seasons absent from the Champions League, Arsenal will be desperate to return to Europe's elite competition this season and the Premier League campaign is one of the routes that the Gunners can use to qualify - with the other being winning the Europa League.

It is still early days in the season but Arsenal already look to have a better chance than Jose Mourinho's Manchester United, who are in meltdown, while both Tottenham and Chelsea have upcoming fixtures with top-four rivals.

Therefore, Arsenal will hope to take advantage of any slips and the form at the moment suggests that Emery will be successful in his attempts to steer the Gunners back into the Champions League next season.
