New Arsenal manager Unai Emery will have plenty of work to do now that he has succeeded Arsene Wenger.

The Spaniard has huge boots to fill given that his predecessor was at the helm of the North London outfit for 22 years.

In that time, Wenger guided the club to three Premier League title wins and seven FA Cup triumphs.

In the last few seasons, though, the Gunners have faded domestically having missed out on Champions League football in the past two consecutive campaigns.

Emery is used to the pressured situation of coaching an elite club having spent the last two years in charge of Paris Saint-Germain.

During his time at Parc des Princes, the 46-year-old won five trophies, including the Ligue 1 title, but was sacked earlier this month following a disappointing Champions League campaign.

One of Emery's main tasks will be sorting out the midfield, which could heavily affect Granit Xhaka.

The Switzerland international, who has earned 61 caps for his country, put in some decent performances towards the latter stages of the season, but he has also faced criticism from fans.

Emery tends to set up his teams with a two-man midfield, and this season Xhaka was tasked with the holding role, but he proved countless times that he does not quite meet the requirements.

Having a new manager in town could give the midfielder a new lease of life, so with that in mind, will the 25-year-old be a hit under Emery?
