Danny Welbeck is enjoying his last days as a Gunner.
Arsenal have already officially confirmed that the 28-year-old centre-forward will be leaving the club upon the expiry of his contract, which is due to happen on 30 June, just a couple of days away now.
Still, he’s had a pretty decent run at the Emirates, despite countless injuries. Last season, he only netted a goal and an assist in the Premier Leauge in eight appearances but in his five years in the red side of north London, he scored a total of 32 goals as well as 15 assists in all competitions.
Now, he is enjoying his holiday in Manhattan and has posted a pretty snazzy Instagram snap, which was bound to catch the eye of some other stars.
Ex-Gunner star Ian Wright was quick to banter Welbeck for his photo and actually called him a “rasclaat”, which is a Jamaican-English slang insult.
But all of this was in good spirits as Wright posted a series of heart emojis to show that he’s just messing around.
