Journo: Arsenal eyeing shock transfer raid for key Spurs star, enquiry made

According to journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, Arsenal have made an enquiry into the potential availability of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli

The 20-year-old was nothing short of phenomenal during his debut Premier League campaign, rightfully claiming the division’s Young Player of the Year award after bagging ten goals and nine assists in 33 appearances for the third-placed Lilywhites.

He’s now seen as a future leading star of the England national team – despite his participation in last night’s 2-1 defeat to Iceland – and a world-class talent in the making, suggesting Spurs won’t be letting the former MK Dons youngster leave White Hart Lane any time soon.

Nonetheless, journalist Emmanuele Giulianelli has rather audaciously claimed that Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing the twelve-cap international, having requested information on Alli from theirĀ fierce north London rivals.

The Italian, who has worked with FourFourTwo, FIFA Weekly, Tribal Football and La Gazzetta dello Sport amongst other publications, wrote on Twitter yesterday; “Arsenal have asked Tottenham info about Dele Alli.”
