Arsenal have been busy in the summer transfer window so far, strengthening areas of the pitch that needed some TLC.
In the past, the Gunners have made marquee signings, the most recent of which was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who joined from Borussia Dortmund in January.
A handful of high-profile players have been linked with moves to the Emirates, but no deals have come to fruition.
Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman was recently touted as a potential target to strengthen wide areas.
However, Coman has played down the speculation by telling Sport1 that he is content with life at Bayern.
The 22-year-old has been with the Bundesliga giants since 2015, but he only signed permanently from Juventus last year following a two-season loan spell.
ArsenalFanTV carried the quotes on their Twitter account, and it sparked quite a reaction from supporters.
🗣 "I've had no contact with Arsenal. I’ve just extended my contract here at Bayern and I’m planning to stay for many more years."

As a great player he is, I am sort of happy he’s said his. If he doesn’t arrive maybe it’s a good chance for Nelson to break into the team as a winger. Seeing him for the U23s, he’s been incredible and hopefully could be a sign for the future. We need player sales

They all say that. Remember two days before we signed Auba a kid asked him if he was coming to Arsenal. Auba said nope, and then two days later he signed.
