Laurent Koscielny has been an Arsenal player for the past eight years, but it seems as though his time at the club could be coming to an end.
At the age of 32, the centre-back is reaching the latter stages of his career, and a serious injury means that he is unlikely to be fit until the winter months.
During the Europa League semi-final against Atletico Madrid in May, Koscielny suffered an Achilles problem, which ended his season and a big chunk of the 2018-19 campaign.
Now, it has emerged that the Frenchman was considering walking away from the North London outfit.
It seems that Arsene Wenger’s decision to call time on his two-decade stint as Arsenal manager was a factor in Koscielny’s deliberations.
According to France Football, the defender’s agent Stephane Courbis has revealed that his client thought that leaving at the same time of Wenger would have been the perfect way to end his Arsenal career.

The representative added that Koscielny received “two or three offers” and that he could not envisage himself playing for another English club.
