Valencia are keen on Arsenal attacker Joel Campbell with Arsene Wenger keen to offload the Costa Rican this summer, according to reports from Estadio Deportivo.
The 24-year-old signed for the Gunners way back in 2011, but has failed to make any real impact at the club.
He’s been shipped out on loan to Lorient, Real Betis, Olympiakos and Villarreal, but did break into the first-team set-up last term after being granted a work permit, and responded well when thrust into the starting XI on the back of a series of injuries in north London.
However, reports claim that Wenger has deemed him surplus to requirements as he prepares for 2016/17, which has alerted Valencia.
The La Liga heavyweights, who briefly flirted with relegation last term in what was a disappointing campaign at the Mestalla, are understood to have made their interest known, with now boss Pako Ayestaran looking to rebuild his inherited squad.
As well as Los Che, AC Milan are thought to be keen.
