Lacazette boost for Arsenal? Chelsea ace lined up by Ligue 1 giants as replacement

Lyon are lining up a potential loan move for forgotten Chelsea striker Loic Remy in the event they lose Arsenal-linked ace Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The Gunners have been heavily aligned with the France international for much of the past few weeks, but it’s been suggested that the Ligue 1 club’s £60m valuation is too steep for the London outfit.

Lacazette himself said that he will ‘listen to offers’ that may or may not come in for him before the close of the transfer window, and reports claim that Lyon are considering Remy as a potential replacement for their talismanic ace in the event that Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain put forward a late proposal.

The Chelsea forward has struggled at Stamford Bridge since joining the Pensioners in the summer of 2014 and could be tempted by the chance to play regular football once again at the age of 29.

However, he is wanted by a host of other Premier League clubs who are keeping a close eye on his situation in case Antonio Conte allows him to make a late move.
