It is believed that both Liverpool and Manchester City have joined Arsenal in the race to sign £12 million rated forward Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, reports the Daily Mail.
Arsenal are believed to be leading the chase to sign one of the country’s hottest young prospects, with former assistant Pat Rice watching the player at the weekend.
The 19-year-old winger scored 2 goals as his Palace side ended up 4-3 winners against Burnley and this will have done no harm to the player’s already burgeoning reputation.
There have been several bright displays from the player which have attracted interested from the Premier League’s top sides.
While he remains a target for Manchester City and Liverpool, Arsenal see Zaha as a potential replacement for Theo Walcott, who has less than 12 months to run on his current deal.
