Romelu Lukaku’s brother, Jordan, has revealed his admiration for Arsenal while discussing a potential summer move to the Premier League.
The Oostende left-back has emerged as one of the latest top talents to arise from the conveyer belt in Belgium, earning praise for his Jupiler League showings while claiming two international caps.
His performances have already led to talk of a switch to England, with Watford, Chelsea, Everton Spurs and Arsenal thought to be interested in the 21-year-old.
And when quizzed by The Set Pieces about the prospect of playing in the Premier League, Lukaku said:
“Do I see myself as Premier League-bound?
“I don’t know, but it’s a league that would suit me.
“I have always been a fan of Arsenal, but I am mad about every Premier League club as long as the club doesn’t have to fight against relegation.”
Lukaku went on to drop a further hint at an Arsenal move by claiming that the Gunners need to spend this summer:
“Arsenal has to go out and spend.”
Jordan is the younger brother of Everton’s Romelu.
The pair both started their careers at Anderlecht, and while the striker was picked up early in his playing days, his defensive sibling has had to work his way up through the ranks in his homeland.
