No one expected Arsenal to beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Given the Gunners hadn’t won any of their last 12 away games against a side in the top four, everyone just expected Man City to get all three points and to keep up the pace with league leaders Chelsea.
But goals from Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud ensure Arsenal ran out deserved winners. They didn’t just put themselves to within a point of the top four, they also handed the initiative to Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table, leaving them with a nice five point lead ahead of current champions City.
And as pictures of Arsenal’s players celebrating after the game began going viral, there was one that obviously stood out from the rest.
As you can see below, Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and John Terry all joined in with Giroud’s memorable celebration…
