David Ospina had to settle for the cup competitions at Arsenal last season as he once again struggled to nab the top spot.
The goalkeeper has been playing second fiddle to Petr Cech since the experienced stopper’s arrival from Chelsea in 2015.
Ospina’s job has been made even harder this summer due to the recent arrival of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
Under new manager Unai Emery, the newbie is expected to be made first choice in between the sticks, with Cech number two and Ospina further down the pecking order.
