As reported by The Daily Mail, one of new Arsenal manager Unai Emery's transfer targets this summer is Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele.

What's the story?

It's expected to be an exciting summer for Arsenal supporters, finally embarking on a new managerial era after seasons of failure.

They'll be eager to see who the new boss can bring into the club to freshen up the starting eleven, with the Gunners expected to be busy in the transfer market.

One player that could be arriving at the Emirates is Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, according to The Daily Mail.

He's on the list of the paper's Arsenal targets, believing he could move to London on a season-long loan, with Barcelona ruling out a sale.

Rated at £72m by Transfermarkt, is this a deal the Gunners should be pursuing?

What can he offer?

Dembele has impressive experience for his young age, having already made over 100 professional appearances in three of Europe's top five leagues at the age of just 21.

Bursting onto the scene at Stade Rennais in 2015/16, he scored 12 times and assisted five more in Ligue 1, attracting the attention of Borussia Dortmund. At the Germans he progressed further in a tougher division, scoring 10 goals and assisting 21 times in all competitions.

Barcelona then came calling but he has yet to full establish himself in the first team at the Nou Camp and a season's loan at Arsenal could be just what he needs to convince the club he can be a big dog there.

With creativity, pace, an eye for goal, excellent dribbling ability and great vision, he is every bit the modern elite wide forward and could revitalise Arsenal's right flank next season.

Even on a temporary basis, the Gunners should be doing all they can to bring him to the Emirates.
