The 28-year-old, who became Arsenal’s most expensive signing of all-time when he moved to the Emirates Stadium from the Spanish capital in 2013, has scored 18 Premier League goals for the Gunners and contributed 33 assists – 19 of which came last season as he hit a purple-patch of form.
Ozil is yet to assist in the Premier League for Arsenal this season, but does have three goals to his name, two of which have come in the last three matches, as the German has started to thrive in a forward partnership alongside Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Alex Iwobi.
Unfortunately, Ozil’s goals and assists record for Arsenal isn’t identical to the one he boasts at Real Madrid when you break it down as the playmaker had 19 goals and 32 assists in his 90 La Liga matches.
