Ramsey is itching to be back in action for Arsenal

Aaron Ramsey has faced a difficult few months in the early stages of the new season, with the Welsh international spending weeks on the sidelines after an injury saw him miss out on the Gunners’ return to form.

Arsenal’s new number eight featured in the opening day defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League but has missed every match since, in a run where the Gunners have remained unbeaten across all competitions and pulled level with Manchester City at the top of the table.

Ramsey is unavailable again tonight as Arsenal look to continue their Champions League campaign with a victory against Bulgarian side Ludogorets, but the Welshman has teased supporters ahead of his return by posting a picture of him in training for the Gunners.

With Granit Xhaka suspended for the next three Premier League matches following his red card in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City, Ramsey has the chance to establish himself in Arsenal’s deep midfield pairing and make the first-team spot his own again.

It’s fair to say many Gooners are excited ahead of Ramsey’s imminent return from action, as they replied with their messages of support to the former Cardiff City man.
