Aaron Ramsey has had his fair share of injury problems over the years, and it seems that he is set for another spell on the sidelines.

There are no indications as yet to how long the midfielder will be out, but from the sounds of it, the problem is not severe.

Wales manager Ryan Giggs confirmed today that Ramsey will not be part of his squad for the China Cup next Thursday as he is due to have a “small procedure”.

Interestingly, though, the 27-year-old will still play a part in this evening’s Europa League last-16 second leg against AC Milan at the Emirates.

The midfielder put in an impressive display in the 2-0 victory over the Serie A giants in the first leg in the San Siro, earning praise from the Arsenal following.

Ramsey has not always been a favourite among the fans, but his recent performances have seemingly changed opinion for the time being.

Given that the midfielder’s injury seems to be minor, question marks could be raised about the club over country debate.

Fans have often struggled to take some injury news for face value when it comes during the international break, particularly when the arranged matches are friendlies.

The majority of Arsenal fans feel fairly relaxed about Ramsey going under the knife, while others are not entirely surprised by the news.
