The Daily Star recently reported that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in making a move for Manchester United’s struggling centre-back Eric Bailly in the winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old defender has had a very difficult time at Old Trafford of late. His struggles were epitomised when he was unceremoniously hauled off by Jose Mourinho with less than 20 minutes played against Newcastle United last time out.
A January switch to a new club would likely help to revitalise the ailing Ivory Coast international’s career, however, he would likely not come cheap in January to any interest suitors – especially top six Premier League rivals.
We asked Arsenal fans if they’d consider a move for Bailly to be a good bit of business for the Gunners and 64% said no. Despite the defensive frailties in Unai Emery’s squad, many Arsenal fans clearly don’t think Bailly is the solution. See the full results below.
