One such youngster who could be due his first senior start for the north London club is Bukayo Saka. The 17-year-old has featured fleetingly for Emery’s side already this season, making three substitute appearances to date, including a Premier League bow against Fulham last time out.
When he has played, the England under-19 international attacker has shown flashes of quality. Emery now ought to give Saka his first start, to see what the youngster can really do.
