Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha impressed in his side’s 5-0 win against Leicester City at Selhurst Park on Saturday, and Arsenal fans were quick to take to Twitter to urge their club to sign the Ivory Coast international.
The winger, who earns £120,000-a-week according to The Guardian, scored one and assisted another in the thrashing of the Foxes, meaning he now has eight goals and a further five assists in 27 Premier League appearances for the Eagles this term.
Meanwhile, the Gunners could be in for a big summer in the transfer market with Arsene Wenger’s successor due to arrive at the Emirates Stadium at some point over the course of the next few weeks, and in attack could be one area on the pitch they look to strengthen – especially following the departures of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott in January.
We asked Arsenal fans to vote on our poll to see whether they would back a move for the 25-year-old former Manchester United forward, and a majority 64% said they would.
It remains to be seen whether the north London outfit would go for Zaha seeing as they want to start competing for the Premier League title and in major European competition again, but you certainly couldn’t rule it out right now given how impressive the tricky player has been.
