Arsenal’s upcoming Europa League encounter with Ukrainian outfit Vorskla Poltava promises to be an opportunity for Unai Emery to rotate his starting XI.

Summer signings Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Lucas Torreira could all be in line to get their first starts for the Gunners. Meanwhile, the likes of Mohamed Elneny, Alex Iwobi and Rob Holding are likely to get some minutes under their belts.

Some of the club’s most promising youngsters could also be involved at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday. Amongst them, Joe Willock will be desperate to build upon the first team experience he accrued last season.

However, with Elneny and Torreira both in need of minutes, the chance of Willock being named amongst the starters are probably slim. Yet, when we asked Arsenal fans if they’d like to see the 19-year-old included from the off against Vorskla 69% said yes, which would suggest they consider the development of this promising youngster a higher priority than giving a runout to established senior squad players.
